Heart of Texas Geocaching (H.O.T. Geocaching) was formed in September 2004 when the Waco Area Cachers merged their existing caching organization with their caching friends in the Whitney, Temple, Lampasas, Killeen, Kempner areas.
The H.O.T. Association has a great group of members from all over the "Heart of Texas" Region! Cities represented in the H.O.T. include: Waco, Woodway,Hewitt, West, Gatesville, McGregor, Whitney, Mexia, Temple, Belton,Harker Heights, Killeen, Ft. Hood, Copperas Cove, Kempner, Lampasas and any and all cities that lie in between this vast area!
The Heart of Texas Cachers hold several organized Caching Events of all kinds throughout the year! In between Events, we keep in contact with each other about the latest news, caches, & "goings on" in our region through our H.O.T. Forum/Message boards!
The H.O.T. Cachers are a friendly & FUN group of people! We all love geocaching and love meeting & getting to know new caching friends!
